An Introduction to Dr. Hamilton

I am an Ordained United Church of Christ Minister and Licensed
Clinical Social Worker. I was born and raised near Boston,
Massachusetts and went to school in the Boston area for my
undergraduate education.

I then attended Lancaster Theological Seminary where I earned my
MDiv, United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio where I earned
by Doctor of Ministry Degree in Pastoral Counseling and Case
Western Reserve University where I obtained my degree in Social
Work.

I have also spent many years in post graduate study focusing upon
Gestalt Theory and treatment of the more difficult mental
illnesses.

For almost 20 years I worked in Dayton, Ohio where I also taught
at several graduate and medical schools. I have written one text
book and have contributed to numerous journals as well as provided
leadership in my professional organizations.

I am a runner, long distance bicyclist, soccer referee (don’t hold
that against me) and greatly enjoy traditional folk music. I am an
avid cook and visitor of book stores.
