Lancaster Pastoral Counseling and Education

I am Jeff Hamilton. I am a United Church of Christ Minister, and
Licensed Clinical Social Worker. For more than 20 years I have been
providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families as well
as working with local congregations, teaching and writing.

I am a Pastoral Counselor. I am trained and educated in both
psychotherapy and religion. I work to make counseling a time of
learning and hope and a place of safety

The counseling I provide comes from two perspectives:

As a licensed clinical social worker with years of experience, I am well
versed in the complexities of counseling needs for individuals, couples
and families. I have education and training in treating a wide variety
of life difficulties

As a certified pastoral counselor, I am trained in understanding the
deeper meanings of life, of religious faith and of personal values, and
how they can effect and shape the counseling experience.

My caring for you, as one hoping to live a fuller life, is there regardless
of your life story, beliefs or difficulty faced.

Pastoral Counseling offers a unique approach to counseling which I
believe you will find helpful and useful.
